Do not walk under a burden
Respect the safety perimeter around a load at height and do not walk under it. Notify your co-workers and other persons on the job site when lifting operations begin.
Do not ride a transpalet
A transpalette is intended for the transportation of goods only, not people. Do not stand on the transpalette yourself nor allow colleagues on it.
Do not smoke or vape
Compliance with the smoking ban is essential to the safety, health and welfare of all those present in this building. These rules are designed to keep the environment as pleasant and healthy as possible for everyone.
Keep your distance form tailgates
Keep your distance from truck hydraulic tailgates. When parking, provide adequate space behind the truck so that the tailgate remains easily accessible during unloading and loading.
Do not stand on a forklift
Forklifts are not suitable for lifting people. Use a forklift only for its intended purpose: to move goods and lift them onto and off trucks.
Maximum speed 20 km/h
The maximum speed within this area is 20 kilometers per hour. It is imperative that all vehicles and pedestrians adhere to this speed limit to ensure the safety of all. This applies to all vehicles, including but not limited to cars, bicycles, and other moving transportation.
Wear safety shoes
Avoid bruises and injuries to your feet, both when loading and unloading and on site, and always wear appropriate safety shoes when you are at work.
Wear safety gloves
Avoid bruises and injuries when moving, nailing, screwing and sawing panels and cutting carpet. Make sure your hands do not get stuck when manipulating large parts.
Wear safety glasses
Prevent eye injuries in high-risk activities such as working with grinding wheels, pneumatic staplers and paint sprayers. Also consider the safety of your co-workers.
Recovered items can be picked up after contact by appointment or returned to the owner, upon payment of shipping, packaging and handling fees. Lost items are kept for a maximum of 2 months.
Lift loads correctly
Don’t strain your back unnecessarily when lifting and lifting. Proper lifting technique will reduce your physical fatigue and avoid muscle strains and aches.
Avoid high-altitude hazards
At great heights, do not use a ladder, but choose a
approved scaffolding. Make sure a rolling scaffold is constructed according to the ARAB (Art. 454 bis).
Wear a safety harness
When working at height, a safety harness provides you with protection against falls. Especially when working along or on trusses and profiles, appropriate fall protection is indispensable.
Wear a safety helmet
Protect your head from falling objects and equipment. Wear an approved safety helmet as soon as you enter the worksite. In addition, a safety helmet increases your visibility in the workplace.
Stack loads correctly
Ensure that loads – including partial loads – are stacked and lashed correctly, even for small distances. Move partial loads to achieve a more balanced distribution.
Remove trash
Do not leave trash lying around on the stand or in the hallways, but deposit it in the designated collection areas. An orderly site prevents falls and allows you to work efficiently and safely.
