Easyfairs announces solid revenue growth (+20.8%) and a leap in EBITDA (+47.1%)

Organic growth, acquisitions and cost control lie at the heart of these strong performances

Brussels, January 14, 2025: Easyfairs has announced its results for the 2023-24 financial year. Easyfairs’ revenues for 2023-24 grew to €229.3 million (previous year: €189.8 million), an increase of 20.8%. Recurring EBITDA reached €52.3 million (previous year: €35.5 million), an increase of 47.1%.

The revenue growth was accompanied by excellent cost control, which drove the EBITDA margin from 18.7% last year to 22.8% this year.

Marc Hellemans, Chief Financial Officer of Easyfairs, explains: “Our previous financial year 2022-23 already showed significant growth, largely thanks to the post-Covid resurgence. We are therefore very pleased that our figures for 2023-24 are even better. Revenues have increased, primarily thanks to strong organic growth (22.9%), which was characterized by significant growth in the volume of our events (just under 9%). We also launched 15 new trade fairs, which account for 4.5% of our total sales. In addition, two acquisitions in this fiscal year, Coiltech and Southern Manufacturing, contributed nearly 5% to the total turnover.

The results also underline the resilience of the Easyfairs business model. “The more the world digitalizes, the more people value face-to-face encounters,” notes Easyfairs Group CEO Anne Lafère. “At the same time, people expect a tailored experience in everything they do, and visiting an event is no exception. That is why we use artificial intelligence, such as matchmaking algorithms, to facilitate targeted connections and to personalize visitor agendas according to their preferences and objectives.

Reflecting on three consecutive record years and the outlook for 2025, Matt Benyon, who shares Group CEO responsibilities with Anne Lafère, notes: “With the recently announced new investment from Cobepa and Inflexion, the outlook for growth is greater than ever. The investment will fund both organic growth through new events and product launches, as well as what we call ‘geo-cloning’—specifically transplanting proven event concepts into new cities and regions—as well as significant acquisitions.
