Flanders Expo is an accessible venue, designed to ensure a comfortable and safe visit for everyone. On this page, you will find practical information for visitors with a disability or specific needs.

Access to the halls & the grounds

Wheelchair accessible

  • All public halls are fully wheelchair accessible.

  • No stairs are required to enter the halls; entrances have level or ramped access, or can be reached by elevator.

Wide passages

  • Most doors and passages are wide enough for electric and manual wheelchairs.

Parking for people with a disability

  • For visitors with a disability or parking permit, there are designated parking spaces close to the main entrance.

  • These spaces are located at Parking PA1, PA3 & PA4 (depending on the event).

  • The route to these parking zones is indicated on the parking maps.

Tip: On busy event days, we recommend arriving early to ensure a spot.

Toilets for people with limited mobility

  • Accessible, spacious toilets are provided in every hall and in the Meeting Center.

  • These are indicated on the site maps and with on-site signage.

Assistance dogs welcome

  • Assistance dogs are always allowed upon presentation of official accreditation.

  • Please ensure your dog wears a harness so our crew can recognize him/her immediately.

Companions & support

  • Visitors who cannot enter independently may bring a companion. This may be free of charge, depending on the event and the organizer’s terms.

  • If you require support during your visit, our staff can assist with:

    • access to halls

    • mobility on the grounds

    • finding facilities

Use of mobility aids

  • Wheelchairs and walkers are permitted in all halls.

  • Mobility scooters are also permitted, provided they are used at a safe speed.

  • Charging points for electric wheelchairs are available on request at the info desk (if provided by the organizer).
