About Flanders Expo
Flanders Expo, in the heart of East Flanders
Flanders Expo offers 54,000 m² of infrastructure and includes:
- 8 exhibition halls with an extensive range of technical facilities
- a conference and seminar centre with 4 modular, very well equipped rooms
- 3 restaurants in the buildings
The building has
two separate entrances so that multiple events can be organized simultaneously.
In the vicinity of the halls, there are
4,000 parking spaces.
Each year,
more than 140 exhibitions and meetings, events and conferences are organised. Because Flanders Expo so well situated in East Flanders, is the meeting place for
more than 1,000,000 visitors.
In 1985 the creation
of N.V. FLANDERS EXPO became a reality. The authorities and industry joined forces and contributing one third and two thirds respectively of the capital. Unlike most other exhibition halls Flanders Expo is a limited company that operates in the private sector. The complex was
officially opened in May 1987 with the third edition of Flanders Technology International.
Since 2007 Artexis and Flanders expo are a unique and complementary company with a market
leader position in the organisation of fairs.
