On Tuesday, September 20, 2022, Easyfairs, operator of Flanders Expo, explained their vision for the future in the presence of customers, partners, politicians, and the press. They also revealed the new logo and new branding of Flanders Expo to the attendees in a scoop, together with Mayor Mathias De Clercq.
During the event on September 20, Easyfairs also explained its ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) strategy. For Easyfairs, ESG is a strategic choice; it is not a project but a mindset that every Easyfairs employee must embrace.
In this context, attention was paid to the social aspect of this strategy. Two graffiti artists transformed two old facade panels into contemporary works of art. These were offered for sale during the evening and sold for a total amount of EUR 960.00. This impressive amount was reached after Easyfairs itself doubled the best bids to EUR 425.00 and EUR 535.00, respectively.

About VZW Enchanté
Enchanté is a non-profit organization with roots in Ghent but now active in several Flemish cities.
At Enchanté, we believe that a society only truly lives when everyone belongs. Young and old, those with fewer and more opportunities, the quiet and the loud callers. That is why we build platforms where we connect people with each other. Because with a small gesture, you too can make a big difference. From a heartfelt coffee or a delicious lunch to a carefree overnight stay. From filled lunchboxes for young and old to a cinema ticket that opens up a new world. Giving from the heart brings life; belonging works wonders. Because this is where it happens! Enchanté
On Tuesday, October 4, Alain D’Haese, COO of Easyfairs Belgium, received Kim Swyngedouw from Enchanté at Flanders Expo to hand over the donation.

Kim Swyngedouw, Enchanté: It is wonderful that we can make an even bigger difference with this financial contribution for the many Ghent students who sit in their classrooms every day with an empty or less nutritious lunchbox.
